Refund Policy

1. Overview
Power Light LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is a business management consulting firm. These Refund Policy explain the conditions under which fees paid for consulting services may be refunded. By engaging our services, you ("Client," "you") agree to the terms set forth below.
2. Consulting Services Nature
Our consulting services are professional services — not products. They involve analysis, advisory work, and customized recommendations delivered over an agreed-upon timeframe. Because consulting is inherently time-based and tailored, refunds are evaluated differently than refunds for physical or digital products.
3. Engagement-Based Fees
Each consulting engagement is governed by a separate Statement of Work (SOW) or consulting agreement that specifies scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees. Refund eligibility is determined by the terms of your specific SOW in conjunction with this policy.
4. Hourly Consulting
For hourly engagements: • Fees for completed hours of consulting work are non-refundable, as the time and expertise have already been delivered. • If you prepay for a block of hours and cancel before the hours are used, the unused balance is refundable within 30 days of payment, minus a 5% administrative processing fee. • Refund requests for unused hours must be made in writing within 60 days of the original payment.
5. Project-Based Fees
For fixed-price project engagements: • Cancellation before project kickoff: 90% refund of fees paid (10% retained for discovery and scheduling costs). • Cancellation after kickoff but before 25% completion: 50% refund of fees paid. • Cancellation after 25% completion: Non-refundable, as substantial work has been performed. • Project completion is measured against milestones outlined in the SOW.
6. Retainer Agreements
For monthly retainer arrangements: • The current month's retainer fee is non-refundable once consulting work has begun for that month. • Retainers may be cancelled with 14 days written notice before the next billing cycle. • Prepaid retainer fees for future, unstarted months are fully refundable upon cancellation.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable in all cases: • Services already performed and delivered • Third-party costs incurred on your behalf (software licenses, research subscriptions, travel) • Rush or expedited service surcharges • Custom deliverables, reports, or frameworks once delivered
8. Dissatisfaction with Results
Power Light LLC does not guarantee specific business outcomes. Consulting recommendations depend on many factors outside our control, including client implementation and market conditions. Dissatisfaction with business results does not constitute grounds for a refund. However, if you believe the services delivered did not meet the scope outlined in your SOW, you may submit a formal review request (see Section 10).
9. Duplicate or Erroneous Payments
If you were charged in error, charged twice for the same service, or charged an incorrect amount, please contact us within 60 days of the charge. Verified erroneous charges will be refunded in full within 10 business days.
10. Refund Request Process

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
11. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting Power Light LLC may result in suspension of services and potential collection activity for valid charges. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks we believe are filed in error or in bad faith.
12. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your original payment governs any refund request.
